Vapers used to follow a fairly linear path when they first put down their cigarettes. First they would get a cigalike, then a starter kit with something like a Kanger Protank or Aspire Nautilus, then a sub ohm tank and a box mod. Along the way they may have messed around with mech mods and rebuildables (Kayfuns, Lemos, drippers, etc.). The point is, vapers generally started with a cigarette-like experience and moved with the market, which right now is filled with sub ohm tanks and boxes. This is a costly process, and many of us look back and think “wow, if only I could have bought my current setup from the start, I could have saved so much time and money.” This is where the eGo One kit comes in.
The eGo One kit comes with one of two different sized tanks. The 1100mAh battery has a 1.8ml tank and the 2200mAh battery comes with a 2.5ml tank. Neither of these has a particularly large capacity, but they will let you vape for a few hours before you need to refill them. The lower capacity also lets you switch out your flavors more often, which is perfect if you haven't found an all day vape yet. The tank has windows to help you gauge the amount of juice you have left and airflow control on the bottom. The top of the tank will fit any standard 510 tip, so if you aren't satisfied with either of the ones that come in the kit you can switch it out for one that you prefer.
The battery comes in 1100mAh and 2200mAh options. The 2200mAh version is slightly longer, but does provide double the battery life. When it comes to choosing one or the other, just think about what you're looking for. Do you want something small and easy to pocket or do you want something that is going to last you all day on a single charge? In either case, there is no adjustable wattage or voltage with this device; it will fire at 4.2 volts until the battery dies. This may be a con for some, but it means that you will get a consistent vape and that you don't have to worry about making a lot of adjustments. Just screw the tank on and vape.
The battery offers both low voltage protection and short circuit protection to keep you safe while you vape. It also has a light around the fire button that indicates the charge remaining on the battery. Anywhere from 60%-100% and the light will stay lit when you fire the device. When you hit below 60% it will begin to flash. Below 30% it will begin flashing more quickly and once you get below 10% it will flash very rapidly. This is not an exact measure of your charge, but it does allow you to eyeball your battery life at a glance.
Both the tank and the battery that come in this kit have a stainless steel finish that looks great. They are both 19mm in diameter and look super sleek together. However, since both have standard 510 connections you can use the tank on any mod and the battery with any other tank (the 1100mAh battery paired with a Subtank Nano makes for a wonderful little stealth setup that can hold 3ml of juice).
The eGo One is a great kit for anyone looking to start vaping on something that they will not feel compelled to upgrade in a few weeks. It also works as a back up piece for vapers who don't want to lug their big boxes around every time they run to the store. Just keep it charged and slip it in your pocket when you're on the go.
With this kit you'll receive a battery (in your choice of 1100mAh or 2200mAh), a tank, 2 coil heads (0.5/1.0), 2 drip tips (1 steel, 1 glass), a USB charging cable, a wall adapter, and a manual. We suggest that you also pick up an extra five pack of coil heads and some juice while you're here at ecig.com so you'll be able to keep vaping for months.

What the heckI purchased this thing less than a week ago and have been very careful with it. Not knowing any better I've broken an ecigs before. But even so, it's already leaking liquid into the coil, choking it up. I get no cloud and a bad taste. I might as well just drink the liquid. I've carefully cleaned it twice already. First time it was ok for a day. This time I didn't even get one good drag. What the heck joyetech? 4 star rating and you suck this bad? 2/7/2016
Awesome product!Makes lots of vapor!. Comes with a 0.5 and 1 ohm atomizer. You can actually sub-ohm with this little beauty! A couple of cons however are that the ejuice level is difficult to determine due to the tiny windows on tank, and the lack of ability to adjust wattage. Other than that this puppy is perfect. 6/25/2015
